HOME IM/Family Relays with Orange Hunt at South Run 2026
HOME South Run
Start: 6:00 PM
End: 9:00 PM

This is an IM ONLY home meet with Orange Hunt, meaning each swimmer will compete in a 100M individual event, swimming one length of each stroke in the following order: fly, back, breast, free. If your swimmer is not legal in all 4 strokes, or cannot complete a 100M race, please do not commit your swimmer. For those who still need to complete the IM to earn their gold caps, this is the last opportunity at a developmental meet! This is a fairly quick meet.

Adult IM

For any ADULTS who also wish to try their hand at 100M IM, this is your big chance! Orange Hunt will also have some adults participating in this event. If you are interested, please sign up here:  https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090A4FABA929A4FB6-64790043-adult The adult IM event will take place upon the conclusion of the IM meet, will not have S&T judges, and will have teens timing the lanes. You may request your card with your time, but no other records will be kept. You have never seen the kids scream as loud at any swim meet as they do for the adults at this one. If you sign up before 5pm on July 19th, you will receive your lane assignment before the meet. You may also sign up on site but will not be guaranteed a lane.

Lolly

There will also be two varieties of lollipop race before the meet begins: shallow end race (as usual), and a 25M event for any juniors ready to take the next step of swimming across the entire length of the pool. If your junior is interested in participating in the 25M swim, please go to https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090A4FABA929A4FB6-64790043-adult to sign up. They can do the shallow end only by showing up on time ready to go day of.

Family Relays

At the end of all of the IMs, we will have our annual family relays: a freestyle and medley. This is a totally informal, fun event. No timers, just bragging rights. Sign up here before 5pm on July 19th to guarantee a spot: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090A4FABA929A4FB6-64790043-adult. If you forget to sign up, you can add your name to a list on-site, and we'll try to get you in later heats because it's fun!

Signup Guidelines:

  • DEADLINE FOR COMMITTING SWIMMERS IS NOON SUNDAY, 7/19 for individual IM.
  • On SwimTopia, commit with yes/no, as there is only one event being offered.
  • After you have committed your swimmer, go back in and look at Job Signup. The Job Signup will also close at Noon on Sunday 7/19. If you have a swimmer participating in the meet and have not signed up for a job, and volunteer vacancies remain, we will reach out to you.
  • On Signup Genius, DEADLINE for guaranteed spots for Juniors 25M Freestyle, Adult IMs and Family Relays is 5pm Sunday 7/19.

SBDL B-Meet RH @ SOR
South Run
Start: 5:00 PM
Warm-up: 5:20 PM
End: 9:00 PM

Looking forward to our second home B meet! We will be hosting Rolling Hills.

Please sign up for a volunteer job if you have a swimmer participating in the Monday night meet. We need lots of help for home meets - more than away!! Volunteers wear blue pants/shorts and white shirt unless you are working concessions or facilities.

Declare your swimmers by NOON on Sunday for Mondayโ€™s Developmental Meet against Rolling Hills. Click โ€œMeet Signupโ€ in the app or SwimTopia website, then choose โ€œAttending this Meet,โ€ select two strokes, and hit โ€œSave.โ€ These cannot be the same two strokes your child swam at Saturdayโ€™s meet if they swam. The coaches will validate your childโ€™s readiness before strokes will be approved. IM counts as one of the two events you may select.

Every swimmer is encouraged to participate in these developmental meets as they provide an opportunity for the entire team to win ribbons, improve times, and gain racing experience. Theyโ€™re a ton of fun! Weโ€™ve got you covered for dinner, too! Concessions will be available!

Please remind your swimmers to stay in the team area between events so coaches can find them easily to get them to Clerk of Course. The team area is also the best place to cheer on teammates!

We also look forward to another lollipop race for our youngest swimmers!

This is a great opportunity for juniors to be part of the team, gain some confidence, and earn a lollipop from the coaches by getting across the shallow end! Kids should feel free to use a kickboard or other tool to help get across if needed. Coaches will also be in the water to help encourage kiddos and it is NOT necessary to actually "swim" the whole way - this is 100% for fun! The whole team looks forward to this fun start to the meet!

*** Importantly we will also be keeping a close eye on the weather. Watch for updates in Swimtopia if any delay is necessary.
